On July 15, under clear skies, our company reached another critical milestone in the construction of the nation’s first 55,000-ton self-propelled deck barge at Zhonghang Shipyard—the vessel entered the dock, marking the official start of its dock assembly phase.

我司董事长江厥杰、总经理王文强亲自率领团队，同时众航船舶的总经理张涛、副总端宝剑，以及大金重工董总等重要代表均莅临出席，共同见证了这一重要时刻。

Attending the joining ceremony were our company’s Chairman Jiang Juejie, General Manager Wang Wenqiang, Deputy General Manager for Safety Production Ding Tao, Technical Department Director Sun Genmu, Zhonghang Shipyard’s General Manager Zhang Tao, Deputy General Manager Duan Baojian, and Dajin Heavy Industry’s General Manager Dong.

The 55,000-ton self-propelled deck barge under construction measures 265 meters in length, 51 meters in width, and 13 meters in depth. Upon completion, its dimensions and load capacity will rank first among similar domestic vessels, and it will also meet the maximum width requirements for navigation through the New Panama Canal. The barge is primarily designed for transporting offshore oilfield jackets and platform modules, large ship steel structures and sections, as well as integrated modules for nuclear power equipment.
